Safe Congregation Panel Contact Information
The Northlake Safe Congregation Panel is a group of individuals from Northlake who are designated by the Board of Trustees and trained to hear concerns about inappropriate conduct or possible child abuse and respond as outlined in the Safe Congregation Policy.
Northlake’s Safe Congregation Policy is available on the website, www.northlakeuu.org, and a paper copy is available in the office.
Kendra P. earned her Master in Teaching degree from the University of Washington and taught in elementary schools for several years before starting her own family. Kendra is a trained K-1 Our Whole Lives (OWL) teacher. Contact Kendra by email.
Cyndy J. has spent twenty years working with youth through Boy Scouts of America as well as twelve years with the children of Northlake, including her son in both instances. Cyndy has been on the RE committee, taught RE classes, and been a chaperone for Middle School Con. Contact Cyndy by email.
Glenn P. has served on the Northlake Board of Trustees and several committees. He has taught Religious Education, sponsored high school youth at Cons, and has seven years experience as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children who have allegedly been abused or neglected. Anyone receiving information about alleged child abuse will: abide by Washington state law regarding reporting child abuse; take appropriate action to ensure protection of the children in the church; and convene a meeting of a Response Team.
