Many religious and spiritual organizations have transitioned to on-line delivery of pastoral, administrative, and Sunday services. The current focus is on restoring a pre-COVID status quo. Consequently, further challenges, such as the many effects of climate disruption are not generally being planned for. That is because many people have not recognized that the post-March 2020 world is fundamentally and permanently changed. Clovice’s September 25 service will describe how his “Church 2.0” project is intended to inform, prepare, and equip religious organizations to meet spiritual needs in a time of chronic and ongoing crisis. He will explore how organizations of all kinds can navigate the spiritual waters of disruption.
