Let music awaken the freedom within your spirit. Feel the rhythm ground you as we gather in shared presence to celebrate music’s power to bring love and liberation. This service will feature special music from acclaimed cellist Dr. Christoph Wagner and renowned pianist and harpsichordist Dr. Joanne Kong. We also will welcome new members into our church.

Cellist Christoph Wagner hails from Germany, is the winner of numerous international awards, and has performed in prestigious venues around the world. He is currently Professor of Cello at the University of New Mexico. Joanne Kong, pianist, was awarded a fellowship from the American Academy of the Arts in Europe, was Grand Prize Winner in the 1985 International Piano Recording Competition, and is in demand as a guest teacher and lecturer. She is the director of Chamber Ensembles at the University of Richmond.
