I recently joined an interfaith clergy witness trip to stand visibly with immigrant communities, reflecting on the responsibility that comes with safety, voice, and visibility—especially when others must remain hidden. With Purim approaching, I’ll weave this experience with the story of Queen Esther, honoring her as a courageous leader who used her access “for such a time as this.” Together, these stories invite us to show up with moral presence and to act with wisdom, courage, and care.
