The people of Northlake make our congregation a loving community, not the physical space that holds us on Sunday mornings. Yet our care for our physical campus also reflects our values, allows us to carry out our mission, and makes a statement to our neighbors and the wider community.

Northlake is a forward-thinking congregation with dreams and aspirations for how we can better live our vision and mission. We realize our main building roof is reaching the end of its useful life and our buildings are not easily accessible to all. To begin formally addressing our long-term needs, Northlake has been taking steps recommended by a professional consultant to understand our needs and create a shared vision for our long-term future.

Northlake Sactuary side steps

A capital campaign is often a once-a-generation opportunity for a congregation to come together and invest in the future…

Stewardship for Us

The capital campaign team is a dedicated group committed to harnessing the incredible potential of our congregation to move toward a thriving Northlake for generations to come.

Tasks we have accomplished since early 2020 include:

  • Forming the capital campaign team
  • Working with a consultant to assess readiness
  • Calling for a maintenance reserve study
  • Conducting whole congregation listening circles
  • Coordinating Facilities, Finance, Stewardship, and Board of Trustees input to identify campaign priorities
  • Fundraising for the urgent roof replacement
  • Working with design professionals to define long-term priorities and cost estimates to guide a comprehensive capital campaign – coming soon!
