What is the School to Prison Pipeline – Rev. Jim VanderWeele

Ijeoma Oluo, a Seattle native, published “So You Want to Talk About Race” in 2018, a book that will be featured for Adult Religious Education sessions this spring (May 20, June 3 & 10). Rev. Jim leads us in a look at a chapter that examines kindergartners in trouble for “assault” and middle school children caught in despair–kids being kids–and the level of bias that has constructed the school-to-prison pipeline.
